Terms of Service

SceneHai is a hyperlocal social meetup platform that enables users to: • Post "Scenes" — spontaneous or planned social hangouts (coffee, food, gaming, drives, etc.) • Discover and request to join Scenes posted by nearby users • Build an "Inner Circle" of trusted connections and DM them • Chat with Hosts and accepted joiners before meetups • Track meetup reliability via the Reliability Score system • Coordinate arrival via Mission Control Intermediary Status: SceneHai is an intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000. We are a platform that connects people — we do not organize, host, or take responsibility for real-world meetups.

Registration: • Provide accurate, current, complete information • Maintain your account information accurately • Keep your login credentials confidential • You are responsible for all activity under your account One Account Rule: • Each person may maintain only one account • Multiple accounts to evade bans are prohibited Security: • Notify us immediately at legal@scenehai.com if you suspect unauthorized access • We are not liable for losses from unauthorized use Termination: • We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms, with or without notice

You agree NOT to use SceneHai to:

When you post a Scene as a Host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate venue, time, and activity details
• Actually show up at the agreed time and place
• Treat all accepted joiners with respect and dignity
• Notify joiners promptly if you must cancel (at least 2 hours' notice recommended)
• Not charge joiners money — SceneHai is not an events ticketing platform
• Take responsibility for the safety and experience of your Scene

When you join a Scene as a Joiner, you agree to:

• Provide honest, accurate vibe answers
• Show up if your request is accepted — or cancel in advance
• Treat the Host and other joiners with respect
• Not join Scenes you have no intention of attending
• Report any safety concerns to SceneHai immediately

Your show-up rate is reflected in your public Reliability Score. Low scores may limit your ability to join certain Scenes. Repeat ghosting may result in account suspension.

Your Content: You retain ownership of all content you post on SceneHai. By posting, you grant SceneHai a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, store, and distribute your content solely for operating and improving the platform. Our Content: The SceneHai app, design, brand, and all platform content (excluding user-generated content) are owned by SceneHai Technologies Private Limited. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our platform without written permission. Takedowns: We remove content violating these Terms or applicable law. To report IP violations, email legal@scenehai.com.

• Meet in well-lit, public places for initial meetups
• Inform a trusted person about your plans
• Trust your instincts — leave if you feel unsafe
• Do not share your home or work address with strangers
• Use the Safety Check-In feature when available

SceneHai is NOT responsible for: • Any harm, injury, or loss during real-world meetups • The accuracy of information provided by users • The conduct of any user before, during, or after a meetup Always exercise personal judgment and take responsibility for your own safety.

Report violations using the in-app Report button. For urgent safety concerns: safety@scenehai.com.

Appeal a suspension or ban: email legal@scenehai.com with "Appeal" in the subject line.

"As-Is" Service: SceneHai is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — regarding reliability, accuracy, or availability. No Liability for Real-World Events: SceneHai is an intermediary. We are not responsible for any harm, loss, injury, or damage arising from meetups facilitated through the platform. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, SceneHai's total liability for any claim shall not exceed INR 1,000 (One Thousand Rupees) or the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months, whichever is lower. Exceptions: Nothing limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SceneHai Technologies Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to: • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any applicable law • Your content posted on the platform • Your participation in any real-world meetup • Any harm you cause to another user

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Dispute Resolution: 1. First, contact us at legal@scenehai.com to resolve disputes amicably. 2. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall go to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. 3. Seat of arbitration: Bangalore, Karnataka, India. 4. Language: English. Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits your rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

By You: Stop using SceneHai and delete your account anytime via Settings → Account → Delete Account. By SceneHai: We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violation of these Terms, conduct that endangers safety, or platform abuse. Effect of Termination: Your right to use SceneHai ceases immediately. Data is handled per our Privacy Policy (deleted within 30 days). Sections relating to liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes: • We will notify you via push notification and in-app banner • We will update the Effective Date • Continued use after changes = acceptance of the updated Terms If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using SceneHai and delete your account.
